I recently got into an accident and my aunt knew Denise , who worked at this location, so we loaded up her car and went to see what we could find. Right away we were greeted by two smiley employees, Denise and Ryan. Ryan was absolutely wonderful! He found a Nissan that was almost perfect! (I wasn't too crazy about the color but it's growing on me.) Pete Gutierrez worked hard to get me financed and seal a great deal. The entire staff was extremely friendly! Brian Curtis even checked up on us during the times we were waiting for Ryan to complete paperwork. It is a very welcoming business and I will definitely be recommending others to go here when looking to purchase a vehicle. Signed Single Mom With Bad Luck

I picked a car online. I have online screenshot showing my payment would be $290. Tanner Hocker called me and we set a meeting time of 1:00 on Sat. 26. Showed up and Tanner was busy so Denise Bone helped us. We test drove several used and new cars and decided to buy the 2017 Camry SE. I asked her about online payment and she asked the manager, I guess. He said no, $309 Was as low as he could go. Seems like the sales people are not on the same page as the online sales. This was a certified car. The wheels were damaged and it needed tires. We asked Denise if we could get factory wheels and tires, she said they couldn’t negotiate on the online cars because they are priced as low as they can go, then quoted us a price of $2700 but said we could go somewhere else and get some that would be a lot cheaper. Denise was great and very helpful. But, we went to tire shop, none of the wheels were like the factory wheels. So we are stuck with damaged wheels and worn tires. Overall, we love the car. I just can’t believe we couldn’t get new tires and wheels from a TOYOTA DEALERSHIP for an affordable price. It’s embarrassing showing family and friends your certified Toyota car with damaged wheels. My wife is not happy! And, I’m not happy because I’m having to shop all over the place trying to find something that looks good on the car. Help!

I had a rav4 that got damaged when it took it by the shop. Was so mad I traded for a Corolla in December 2018 and took a screwing. I still have it just over 10.000 miles hardly drive it. Was talking to+denise bone about trading it when the virus stuff started. Now I got a recall on it, and need to call in for that stuff.

Even though the explorer had an inspection done on site, I had to replace car battery not even 24 hours from leaving the sale lot after it completely died while out of town at a doctors appointment. I also had to replace the battery in my key by the time I made it home from the sale lot. No master code was provided for the key less entry and still pending a call back for this information.

Bait and Switch

Came in to buy a used vehicle listed online for $12,300. After TTL, customer care fee, Admin fee, nitrogen fee, and fee fee, they told me the cost of the car was almost 18K! TTL was about 1,400 on the car so it should have been no more than 14K at best. They went on a rant on how they were losing $3,800 on the car and they had to leave in the some of the extra fee's or they would just have to add them back to the price of the car. If the car is listed for a price, sell it for that price. It is not the buyers responsibility to cover your losses. Honor your word and stop fueling the negative perception of car dealers being the absolute worse people to work with.

WORST😡 dealership EVER!! Sales guys Fino & Pete are great, but sales managers are horrible. All the negative reviews about them gouging you on fees etc are all true, Vehicle I was interested in was $33932. on Tuesday, I made an offer, and on Wednesday they jacked the price up to$34899. by the time they added their fees out the door price was $45997.42, this was just from their fees, no financing etc. At a normal/decent dealership the price would have been around $37000. They will tell you well thats why are prices are so low because we make our money on fees. I was told they would drop majority of fees except the shottenkirk customer care which is $1995. but they would see if they could get that lowered for me. Next conversation was no they won't drop any of the fees, Price was nearly $46000.00. Just know if it is to good to be true it is. Will never ever deal with this dealership again & I will tell everyone i know to not waste their time at this dealership. I wasted 3 days with these scam artist. So just remember don't even make a call and inquire about their vehicles, you will be waisting your time. I sent the company an email before leaving a review, never heard a word back. Sales manager was rude & very disrespectful.

Do not buy anything from this dealership! While getting financed through my bank they raised the price of the vehicle by $5,000.00. When I called to ask why the price had gone up I received two different stories. I was first told that the vehicle was marked down due to a sale, which had just ended. Then I was told the increase in price was due to the vehicle receiving some modifications. So, I asked the salesperson to ask the manager if he would honor the original price and he said no. I tried to provide them the documentation from my bank justifying that I was approved for the amount that was advertised. Unfortunately, they did not care! Therefore, people hate dealing with and going to car dealerships!

First part of the car buying experience was a little rocky. We had an appointment at 1 o’clock and didn’t actually speak to anyone until 2. But when we did actually speak to someone and start looking and the paperwork and everything, it went a million times smoother. Probably the only reason I even bought something there was because of one person. The sales manager Brian Curtis. Our salesman was great but you could tell he was new so Brian stepped in and helped close the deal and made sure we were getting exactly what we wanted. Our salesman Weldon, though he lacked experience was also very easy to work with and in time I think he will make the perfect car salesman!

Horrible experience. Bullied into Fees. Lack of transparency

Calling it a disappointing experience would be an understatement. Once the sales representatives understood that I was in from out of town, test drove and verbally committed to buying a used vehicle they..... 1. Tried to get me to pay an additional $1000 over the listed price. Website was updated with the new price overnight. An email from the salesperson with the original price is the only thing that saved me from this increase. 2. Subsequently added a Customer Care package ($1495.00) and an out-of-state Admin fee ($525.00), which they never could explain why, to the initial purchase agreement. 3. Told me that the $500 coupon advertised on the website was not applicable. Hmmm When I rejected the Customer Care package they told me that this was their final offer. I had to accept the $1495.00 package and the additional Admin fee ($525.00) or they were going to let me walk out the door. Unbelievable!!! Stay away from this dealership

The whole experience makes me sick thinking about it. My sales guy Alan Foreman was pretty good i I liked him, he was new and you could tell he was really trying. It was everyone else above him. This was not my first car buying experience. I purchased 4 cars in the past one used and 3 new. This was the 1st time to come to this dealership though. I cant believe I'm saying this but i really feel like they took advantage of me because I'm a woman. I was passive and didn't push hard enough where I knew they were wrong. Im not going into detail about everything i feel they did wrong but i will say they screwed me on my trade in. I know someone that went the month before and traded in a old Toyota Camry for a newer one. His trade in had over 100k miles, trashed inside, transmission was going out and a dent in the back. They gave him 7k for his car. I had a 2015 Cadillac SRX, 40k miles, like new black leather seats, clean very well taken care of, no scratches or dents of any kind, almost perfect condition the only thing was half of the touch screen wasn't working which is common in Cadillacs. They tried giving me 7k as well . Every time I brought up that they had given the person I know the same amount for his car in the xxxxty condition it was in they would avoid the question and not say anything. They ended up giving me a little more for it but still not near what it was worth. That was one of several reasons i think so little of that place now. I was stupid for not walking out.

Sales Staff and Finance Staff were great.

We had to order our 2020 Highlander in order to get the specific features we wanted. Our salesman, Mike Milson, was really resourceful in getting our order expedited. The finance man, Pete Gutierrez, was very helpful with processing our financing with Toyota Motor Credit. The only negative I have is the person that worked with us on negotiating the price of the vehicle, Billy Bohrmann. I had reviewed Kelley Blue Book concerning the average price of our selected model and the average trade in value of our old vehicle and told very bluntly that Shottenkirk does not use KBB and does not care what it recommends. My expectations were dashed servery. That was the only negative experience that I had with the dealership. Extremely long wait with appointment.

My wife had a 3:00 appointment for an oil change and it took over two and half hours. She saw customers come in after her and had there car back in less then an hour. Then on the way out to get her car upon completion she was told something went wrong and the check engine light was on after the oil change. They corrected with no explanation. She was also told the car wash was not working so they could not wash it. She look outside and cars were going through the car wash? My past experience is it's hit and miss as far as good service, this isn't the first time we have had to wait this long with an appointment.

I came in to get my rotors turned and new brake pads all the way around. Two hours waiting and they hadn’t even started on what I wanted. They came to me with a list of items that had nothing to do with my brake job. I did ask them to check my fluid levels but I didn’t think it would take two hours. I still never got anything that let me know my engine oil level, I’ll have to check it myself I guess. My brakes make a slight sshhhing sound when I brake as I stop. I’m assuming this is becarotors and pads. I was not warned this would happen. If it doesn’t go away after a couple of days I’ll bring it back in. If I do I hope it doesn’t take 4 hours like my last visit. Your employees don’t seem to have a sense of how valuable your customers time is. I’m not happy and may seek to have my 2013 Prius 4 serviced elsewhere next time. 4 hours for a brake job is too long.

Had a oil change and a wash, the wash pulled off the front hood clip, no attempt to make it right. Just a poor attempt to place blame that it was because the clip is painted. The retainers are shot and one service person said hey at least it didn't fall off. I don't have enough space here to really Express my thoughts on it and to top it off the car wash I received was xxxx poor. I have always had my truck serviced there where I bought it but I kinda feel that I could get better service at jiffy lube

I bought my car at your dealership, and I'll always go there for service! Your staff are very friendly!! Even though I live in Fort Worth and can go to any Toyota dealership for service, I always drive to Shottenkirk. Let's get real! Even your waiting area is immaculate!! My car was recently damaged by hail. I spoke with (and met) Brandon regarding the damage. He was fantastic to work with. Not only did the price for repair come in lower than I expected it would, he told me that he could start on the repair "right away." The detailed quote I received for the repair was very, very, very impressive. It was easy to understand, and, even Allstate (my insurance company) told me that they liked it! You have a great dealership!!!

I recently got into an accident and my aunt knew Denise , who worked at this location, so we loaded up her car and went to see what we could find. Right away we were greeted by two smiley employees, Denise and Ryan. Ryan was absolutely wonderful! He found a Nissan that was almost perfect! (I wasn't too crazy about the color but it's growing on me.) Pete Gutierrez worked hard to get me financed and seal a great deal. The entire staff was extremely friendly! Brian Curtis even checked up on us during the times we were waiting for Ryan to complete paperwork. I picked a car online. I have online screenshot showing my payment would be $290. Tanner Hocker called me and we set a meeting time of 1:00 on Sat. 26. Showed up and Tanner was busy so Denise Bone helped us. We test drove several used and new cars and decided to buy the 2017 Camry SE. I asked her about online payment and she asked the manager, I guess. He said no, $309 Was as low as he could go. Seems like the sales people are not on the same page as the online sales. This was a certified car. The wheels were damaged and it needed tires. We asked Denise if we could get factory wheels and tires, she said they couldn’t negotiate on the online cars because they are priced as low as they can go, then quoted us a price of $2700 but said we could go somewhere else and get some that would be a lot cheaper. Denise was great and very helpful. But, we went to tire shop, none of the wheels were like the factory wheels. So we are stuck with damaged wheels and worn tires. Overall, we love the car. I just can’t believe we couldn’t get new tires and wheels from a TOYOTA DEALERSHIP for an affordable price. It’s embarrassing showing family and friends your certified Toyota car with damaged wheels. My wife is not happy! And, I’m not happy because I’m having to shop all over the place trying to find something that looks good on the car. Help!

Great customer service from sales associate. Buying experience was good. Even though the explorer had an inspection done on site, I had to replace car battery not even 24 hours from leaving the sale lot after it completely died while out of town at a doctors appointment. I also had to replace the battery in my key by the time I made it home from the sale lot. No master code was provided for the key less entry and still pending a call back for this information.

Bait and Switch

Came in to buy a used vehicle listed online for $12,300. After TTL, customer care fee, Admin fee, nitrogen fee, and fee fee, they told me the cost of the car was almost 18K! TTL was about 1,400 on the car so it should have been no more than 14K at best. They went on a rant on how they were losing $3,800 on the car and they had to leave in the some of the extra fee's or they would just have to add them back to the price of the car. If the car is listed for a price, sell it for that price. It is not the buyers responsibility to cover your losses. Honor your word and stop fueling the negative perception of car dealers being the absolute worse people to work with.

WORST😡 dealership EVER!! Sales guys Fino & Pete are great, but sales managers are horrible. All the negative reviews about them gouging you on fees etc are all true, Vehicle I was interested in was $33932. on Tuesday, I made an offer, and on Wednesday they jacked the price up to$34899. by the time they added their fees out the door price was $45997.42, this was just from their fees, no financing etc. At a normal/decent dealership the price would have been around $37000. They will tell you well thats why are prices are so low because we make our money on fees. I was told they would drop majority of fees except the shottenkirk customer care which is $1995. but they would see if they could get that lowered for me. Next conversation was no they won't drop any of the fees, Price was nearly $46000.00. Just know if it is to good to be true it is. Will never ever deal with this dealership again & I will tell everyone i know to not waste their time at this dealership. I wasted 3 days with these scam artist. So just remember don't even make a call and inquire about their vehicles, you will be waisting your time. I sent the company an email before leaving a review, never heard a word back. Sales manager was rude & very disrespectful.

Great Customer Service!!

I recently got into an accident and my aunt knew Denise , who worked at this location, so we loaded up her car and went to see what we could find. Right away we were greeted by two smiley employees, Denise and Ryan. Ryan was absolutely wonderful! He found a Nissan that was almost perfect! (I wasn't too crazy about the color but it's growing on me.) Pete Gutierrez worked hard to get me financed and seal a great deal. The entire staff was extremely friendly! Brian Curtis even checked up on us during the times we were waiting for Ryan to complete paperwork. Great buy with a few hiccups.

Great customer service from sales associate. Buying experience was good. Even though the explorer had an inspection done on site, I had to replace car battery not even 24 hours from leaving the sale lot after it completely died while out of town at a doctors appointment. I also had to replace the battery in my key by the time I made it home from the sale lot. No master code was provided for the key less entry and still pending a call back for this information.

Do not buy anything from this dealership! While getting financed through my bank they raised the price of the vehicle by $5,000.00. When I called to ask why the price had gone up I received two different stories. I was first told that the vehicle was marked down due to a sale, which had just ended. Then I was told the increase in price was due to the vehicle receiving some modifications. So, I asked the salesperson to ask the manager if he would honor the original price and he said no. I tried to provide them the documentation from my bank justifying that I was approved for the amount that was advertised. Unfortunately, they did not care! Therefore, people hate dealing with and going to car dealerships!

First part of the car buying experience was a little rocky. We had an appointment at 1 o’clock and didn’t actually speak to anyone until 2. But when we did actually speak to someone and start looking and the paperwork and everything, it went a million times smoother. Probably the only reason I even bought something there was because of one person. The sales manager Brian Curtis. Our salesman was great but you could tell he was new so Brian stepped in and helped close the deal and made sure we were getting exactly what we wanted. Our salesman Weldon, though he lacked experience was also very easy to work with and in time I think he will make the perfect car salesman!

Calling it a disappointing experience would be an understatement. Once the sales representatives understood that I was in from out of town, test drove and verbally committed to buying a used vehicle they..... 1. Tried to get me to pay an additional $1000 over the listed price. Website was updated with the new price overnight. An email from the salesperson with the original price is the only thing that saved me from this increase. 2. Subsequently added a Customer Care package ($1495.00) and an out-of-state Admin fee ($525.00), which they never could explain why, to the initial purchase agreement. 3. Told me that the $500 coupon advertised on the website was not applicable. Hmmm When I rejected the Customer Care package they told me that this was their final offer. I had to accept the $1495.00 package and the additional Admin fee ($525.00) or they were going to let me walk out the door. Unbelievable!!! Stay away from this dealership

The whole experience makes me sick thinking about it. My sales guy Alan Foreman was pretty good i I liked him, he was new and you could tell he was really trying. It was everyone else above him. This was not my first car buying experience. I purchased 4 cars in the past one used and 3 new. This was the 1st time to come to this dealership though. I cant believe I'm saying this but i really feel like they took advantage of me because I'm a woman. I was passive and didn't push hard enough where I knew they were wrong. Im not going into detail about everything i feel they did wrong but i will say they screwed me on my trade in. I know someone that went the month before and traded in a old Toyota Camry for a newer one. His trade in had over 100k miles, trashed inside, transmission was going out and a dent in the back. They gave him 7k for his car. I had a 2015 Cadillac SRX, 40k miles, like new black leather seats, clean very well taken care of, no scratches or dents of any kind, almost perfect condition the only thing was half of the touch screen wasn't working which is common in Cadillacs. They tried giving me 7k as well . Every time I brought up that they had given the person I know the same amount for his car in the xxxxty condition it was in they would avoid the question and not say anything. They ended up giving me a little more for it but still not near what it was worth. That was one of several reasons i think so little of that place now. I was stupid for not walking out.

Sales Staff and Finance Staff were great.

We had to order our 2020 Highlander in order to get the specific features we wanted. Our salesman, Mike Milson, was really resourceful in getting our order expedited. The finance man, Pete Gutierrez, was very helpful with processing our financing with Toyota Motor Credit. The only negative I have is the person that worked with us on negotiating the price of the vehicle, Billy Bohrmann. I had reviewed Kelley Blue Book concerning the average price of our selected model and the average trade in value of our old vehicle and told very bluntly that Shottenkirk does not use KBB and does not care what it recommends. My expectations were dashed servery. That was the only negative experience that I had with the dealership. I know now that if I want to use KBB for a guide, then I need to seek out a different dealership. And I will, should we decide to get another vehicle.

Extremely long wait with appointment.

My wife had a 3:00 appointment for an oil change and it took over two and half hours. She saw customers come in after her and had there car back in less then an hour. Then on the way out to get her car upon completion she was told something went wrong and the check engine light was on after the oil change. They corrected with no explanation. She was also told the car wash was not working so they could not wash it. She look outside and cars were going through the car wash? My past experience is it's hit and miss as far as good service, this isn't the first time we have had to wait this long with an appointment.

I came in to get my rotors turned and new brake pads all the way around. Two hours waiting and they hadn’t even started on what I wanted. They came to me with a list of items that had nothing to do with my brake job. I did ask them to check my fluid levels but I didn’t think it would take two hours. I still never got anything that let me know my engine oil level, I’ll have to check it myself I guess. My brakes make a slight sshhhing sound when I brake as I stop. I’m assuming this is becarotors and pads. I was not warned this would happen. If it doesn’t go away after a couple of days I’ll bring it back in. If I do I hope it doesn’t take 4 hours like my last visit. Your employees don’t seem to have a sense of how valuable your customers time is. I’m not happy and may seek to have my 2013 Prius 4 serviced elsewhere next time. 4 hours for a brake job is too long.

Had a oil change and a wash, the wash pulled off the front hood clip, no attempt to make it right. Just a poor attempt to place blame that it was because the clip is painted. The retainers are shot and one service person said hey at least it didn't fall off. Even though I live in Fort Worth and can go to any Toyota dealership for service, I always drive to Shottenkirk. Let's get real! Even your waiting area is immaculate!! My car was recently damaged by hail. I spoke with (and met) Brandon regarding the damage. He was fantastic to work with. Not only did the price for repair come in lower than I expected it would, he told me that he could start on the repair "right away." The detailed quote I received for the repair was very, very, very impressive. It was easy to understand, and, even Allstate (my insurance company) told me that they liked it! You have a great dealership!!!

Y'all wont even return calls from Toyota dealer services that have called you twice on our complaints.

Excellent customer service with great team work.

I had a collision with a deer and had to have the body of my car repaired, and a regular maintenance at the same time. Oscar, who picked a great car for me to purchase, kept in touch with the collision and the maintenance department and kept me posted so that I can be at the dealership at the right time to pick up my car. I have a job that keeps me busy and on the road a lot, and to know that I have a dependable Toyota team backing me is a great comfort and can focus on my job. Thank you Oscar and the Toyota team. Replaced front bumper which was damaged in a parking lot

When I brought the car in for an estimate everything was handled very professionally and the estimate was very reasonable. We brought the car in at the designated date and the job was done in a couple of days and was perfectly completed. All service personnel were extremely courteous and very professional.
